• Able to speak, read and write simple English and Chinese, if possible (to liaise with Chinese speaking colleague or supplier)

• Weld high temperature alloys in the repair of turbine engine components using gas tungsten arc and manual brazing processes

Requirements:
• GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) in Aluminium / Stainless Steel / Carbon Steel.

Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain technical and support relationship with customers
• Undertake equipment installation surveys for new build, upgrade or rebuild rigs
• Supervise shipyard installations as required
• Provide after sales customer support and respond to clients needs
• Repair, maintain and install & commission of equipments and complete service reports
• Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the Sales Team
• Advise customers on most appropriate equipment and installation options
• Troubleshooting of equipment installation and operational problems
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years working experience in offshore or heavy machinery industries
• Experience with solids control equipment would be preferred
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient in MS office and AutoCAD
• Knowledge in Manufacturing and Fabrication will be an added advantage

(Qatar Shell Pearl GTL) seeks applicants for the following position to start before 1st July 2010.

1.Job Title: Utilities / Air Separation Operators (specialising in Start-Up)
Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar

Duration: Contract Position for 6 to 12 Months

Minimum Requirements:
· A minimum of 10 years experience in operations of Refineries, LNG, Oil and Gas production, Petro- Chemical plants
· Seasoned Panel Operators or Senior Field Operators, with in depth expertise in one or several of the following processes:
· Gas & steam turbines, boilers and electrical network
· Water treatment and effluents treatment
· Air separation unit

Salary Guide – Around $200USD per day (We expect this to be the maximum salary offered for this position)
Duration – 6 to 12 months
Working days – 6 days per week
